0401 / The work
An investor may have the underlying records without a coherent explanation of how they fit together. I help connect the documents, amounts, dates, and ownership relationships before you review the conclusions.
Organize the records behind a property sale, business proceeds, dividends, a loan, or another agreed source. Link the factual narrative to the evidence available.
Build a readable chart of the people and entities in the documentary record. Flag missing ownership records and relationships that require clarification.
Map transfers across accounts and jurisdictions. Reconcile dates, amounts, and documented conversions, and identify breaks in the chain.
Prepare an indexed record, a focused list of missing documents, and open questions for counsel. Distinguish documented facts from explanations awaiting support.
02 / The deliverable
Designed to make the basis for each material factual statement visible and the remaining questions explicit.

03 / Working together
Engage me for a specific documentary task or an agreed package. We define responsibilities, document access, and the deliverable before work begins.
Discuss the transaction, relevant jurisdictions, sources of capital, and your team’s requirements. Agree on fees and scope.
Agree on an appropriate document-transfer method. Organize the available evidence and identify missing information.
Prepare ownership and fund-flow records, supporting references, and a list of inconsistencies to resolve.
Deliver the agreed package and walk through open questions. Your team retains legal judgment and filing decisions.
Documentary and factual support only. U.S. legal opinions, sanctions determinations, immigration advice, and filing decisions remain with appropriately licensed U.S. counsel. The work does not replace a bank’s review or guarantee acceptance of funds or documents.

04 / About Vlad Gaon
My background is in international legal work, cross-border transactions, business licensing, and insolvency matters.
That experience informs how I approach foreign records: identify the relevant parties, connect the underlying transactions, and separate what the documents establish from what remains unresolved.
05 / Common questions
Yes. We can define a limited task, such as reviewing a particular source of funds, mapping an ownership chain, or organizing foreign supporting records. The scope and fees are agreed before work begins.
The proposed handover is in English, with a factual narrative and references to underlying records. Translation needs and any requirement for certified translations are agreed separately.
No blanket certification is provided. The engagement defines which records are examined and what verification steps, if any, are included. Conclusions are limited to the evidence and scope, and unresolved issues are identified for counsel.
They depend on the sources of funds, entities, jurisdictions, volume of documents, and the work required. An initial discussion is followed by an agreed scope, fee, and estimated timetable.
Please start with a brief, non-sensitive description. Confidentiality terms and an appropriate transfer method should be agreed before financial or identity documents are shared. This site does not accept document uploads.
